Sophie started dancing at 2 years old with experience in various styles including; Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Hip Hop Acrobatics, Musical Theatre, Commercial and Samba!

Over the past few years, Sophie has been studying in Melbourne at Kelly Aykers Full Time Dance (2022-2023).
Sophie obtained a Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management and is currently a Dancer in the Navy Blue Crew for Carlton AFL.

From the age of 6, Sophie hit the stage, competing across Victoria until the age of 17, winning a number of eisteddfods, championships and aggregates across the state!

Sophie found her love for teaching at a young age of 12, whilst being an assistant teacher.

With years of experience and qualifications, Sophie will steer our ballet program in an upwards direction and we cannot wait to see what Sophie brings to the SMDS difference!
