Ashlyn has been performing since the age of 2.

Having trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, acro and tap for years, she displayed her love for teaching from an early age. 

 

Ashlyn also has a love for musical theatre, performing in many productions through BLOC Music Theatre and Loreto College, performing in ‘Chicago’, ‘A Chorus Line’, ‘Shrek’, ‘Camp Rock’ and ‘My Son Pinocchio’ over the years. 

 

Ashlyn has thrived in the eisteddfod and competition scene for many years in all styles around Australia. 

 

Ashlyn undertook Transit Dance’s extension program for contemporary, which enhanced her technical skills immensely. She also danced for Monash University in 2023, brining home amazing results including Unisport National Champion in the Gold Coast. 

 

Ashlyn has a deep love for SMDS and teaching the new generation of young dancers. She can’t wait to share her love and technical knowledge to her students during 2024!
